To assure optimal protection, the ZEMENTOL Group provides a 10-year warranty for all projects.
The ZEMENTOL 10-year warranty by far exceeds the statutory warranty periods in almost all European countries.
The ZEMENTOL trademark had been used for concrete additives since 1935. The company’s first headquarters were situated in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.
Since the early 1950s the ZEMENTOL® System has been used all over Europe and has become the leading system in terms of quality for integral waterproofing and sealing buildings using waterproof concrete. The ZEMENTOL® System can be used to seal slabs and walls, as well as ceilings and decks.
The ZEMENTOL Group completes over 1,000 building sealing projects a year throughout Europe.
ZEMENTOL developed the ZEMENTOL® System in the early 1950s and has since become a renowned specialist for integral waterproofing and sealing buildings using waterproof concrete. The ZEMENTOL® System comprises highly specialized engineering services, on-site quality assurance during the construction phase and the supply of reliable waterproofing materials. The enhancement of the System exclusively serves one aim: to seal your project with maximum reliability and cost-effectiveness.

The ZEMENTOL® System: a one-stop shop for building sealing requirements. The ZEMENTOL® System can meet all your engineering service needs, provide on-site quality assurance and deliver all the requisite building materials from a single source.
ZEMENTOL centralizes the associated liability for the benefit of the other parties involved. The ZEMENTOL warranty covers bodily injury, financial loss and damage to property. Without ZEMENTOL, all the parties involved (e.g. the architect, structural engineer, batch plant operator and contractor) will be proportionately liable, which can frequently cause lengthy and costly legal procedures in the event of water infiltrations.
ZEMENTOL’s assumption of liability is particularly valuable, since integral waterproofing and sealing buildings using waterproof concrete are not strictly defined by national regulations, which places added responsibility on the parties involved.
Complex building sealing projects require the expertise of ZEMENTOL staff. ZEMENTOL technicians and engineers receive both in-house and external training.
The training courses cover subjects such as concrete as a material, concrete repair techniques and foreign languages. Many of our employees have been with ZEMENTOL for more than 10 years and have extensive experience of working on projects of all scales throughout Europe.

Thus investors and building owners can be sure that the building sealing will be fully put to the test during the warranty period. All ZEMENTOL projects are also covered by premium quality engineering insurance. This covers property damage, bodily injury, financial loss and environmental damage for up to EUR 2.0 million. The cover limit can be increased for major projects. The insurance covers all engineering, performance and product liability risks associated with the building sealing.
